Stories have the power to connect us with those around us, with those who speak to us through the centuries, and to that still small voice within. We’ll join the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley via Zoom, as Rev. Madelyn Campbell and the UUCLV Sacred Storytellers lead a service about sacred storytelling with a focus on forgiveness.

Rev. Campbell is newly arrived in the Lehigh Valley from northern Virginia where she’s been serving congregations in the greater D.C. and Baltimore area since 2013. She graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC in 2014, and finished a certificate in the arts and theology not long after. She’s a Certified Master Biblical Storyteller—so far the only UU who’s achieved that certification. She’s currently enrolled in a Doctor of Ministry degree (Holiness, Effective Ministry, and Engagement With The World) through Wesley in conjunction with Wesley House in Cambridge (England). She’s hoping to complete that degree in 2021.

She’s been a Unitarian Universalist for over 30 years. Before answering her call to ordained ministry, she was a family nurse practitioner, and an economics business analyst.
