Holocaust Remembrance Day 2022: Remembering the Holocaust

April 27 is the U.S. Holocaust Day of Remembrance. We’ll commemorate this day by remembering and learning more about the events that led up to this tragic time in history. Deepening our knowledge and understanding of the climate of those times can help us to recognize the warning signs of catastrophic events. Yes, it’s difficult to see and hear about a world gone mad, but it’s important to remember these dark times. It can help raise our awareness about contemporary forms of anti-semitism and other forms of hatred. Only through education can we understand the dangers of prejudice, hatred, radical and extremist movements. We’ll explore tragedy and also HOPE.
