Addiction and Vulnerability

The Twelve Steps are at the heart of many addiction recovery programs and embody vulnerability. The second step is to “believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity” and the third step is to “turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand Him.” Many people dealing with addiction find support through these vulnerable – and courageous- steps.
