Teachable Moments

The Tao Te Ching declares, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” This Sunday, we’ll reflect upon “teachable moments” in our own lives. What is it about those moments that made us ready to learn? And what was it about us that made us open to learning? Unitarian Universalists are part of the stream of religious traditions that practice a creative approach to religion and life. How does being open to continuous revelation within our religious tradition also inform our everyday lives? What practices can guide us along this path that is open to exploration and discovery?

“Circle Conversation.” Following the service, there will be optional conversation time with Rev. Larry Peers and TPUUF Board Members, as we continue our goodbyes before Larry leaves his ministry with us on July 30 to begin his new ministry at First Unitarian Church in Wilmington.
