English writer and philosopher Aldous Huxley once observed that “To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries.” The Sayer family recently returned from a trip to Peru that confirmed Huxley’s observation. TPUUF member John Sayer will share some of his and his family’s encounters with Peruvian history, culture and religion and how their experiences challenge our understanding of this fascinating country and provide lessons for living in a diverse, changing world.
