Love and Liberty: Two Sides of the Same Coin, Both Crucial for Building a New Africa

As we grapple with our domestic political and governmental crises, we should not lose sight of conflicts and challenges in places such as Africa. Martin Niboh, PhD, Physics, views Africa as he would a person suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Quick, one-dimensional fixes that fail to address the wounds and lasting effects of slavery, colonialism, and post-independence corrupt, tyrannical dictatorships will leave Africa and her independent countries hurting even more. A complex, multidimensional, all hands-on deck approach, however, can build Africa into a land of liberty, unity, security, peace, and opportunity. Dr. Niboh, along with Igniting Africa, a grassroots organization. will never take no for an answer. The organization is dedicated not only to promoting principles of liberty and entrepreneurship, but also to addressing the cultural, social, economic, intellectual, and political changes required for men and women to identify their passions, build confidence, gain skills, and convert their dreams into businesses in the 21st Century.
