Fundraising Planning, December 10, 11:45 am – 12:30 pm (no Brunch that day).
In order to meet our financial goals each year, our budget relies on a considerable amount of income from fundraising events and programs. We usually try to have at least two substantial fundraising events each year, one of which has been the Goods and Services Auction for the last several years. Other events you may remember have been the Soirée, Oktoberfest event, Chili Cook-off contest, Souper Bowl Sunday, Kentucky Derby Day and various flea market sales. This fall we didn’t have a fundraiser, therefore it is all the more important that we have a successful auction event (for which we are still seeking leadership.)
On Dec 10th, after service, we will convene a general interest meeting to brainstorm fundraising ideas and share our talents and resources around this topic.
