Start thinking about those themed dinners, museum tours you could lead, music or art/craft lessons you’d like to offer or other gatherings you could host. Contact Lizzie Vena or Laura Walter with any questions, offers to help plan or run the event or to get in your early submission of your dinner or excursion to auction. Official donation forms will be available in February. The simplicity of a dinner and excursions auction makes the planning of such an event manageable for our volunteers. We are working on our plan for musical entertainment, as that is always part of the fun. Another element that makes our auctions tons of fun is decorating and dressing to our theme.
Our theme is Once Upon A Time – A Storybook Party. Folks are invited to dress as your favorite literary character. As the timing of our event aligns with Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’s birthday, you are invited to bring the book of your character and those book donations will be shared with a local library in need. Donation forms are available now in the lobby, on the TPUUF website (click here), and by email request. Please complete forms in full and return to Laura Walter or Lizzie Vena.
