We live in a global village. As believers in social justice, we Unitarian-Universalists need to be mindful and work on local, national and international issues. We need to be global citizens. The United Nations is our link to the world, and the UU-UNO is our link to the UN. This year’s focus for the UU-UNO is empowering women for a better world. We all suffer when we fail to empower many of the world’s women who could be helping to create a better world for all of us, men, women, children alike.
