TPUUF returning to Virtual-Only Services due to rising COVID numbers, beginning Dec 19th

TPUUF Members and Friends

In September we adopted a Re-Opening Policy and implemented “hybrid” services where people could join Sunday services in person or continue to participate via Zoom. At the time, Montgomery County and Lower Providence Township (where our building is located) had a “Moderate” level of community transmission of CIOVID as determined by metrics monitored by the Montgomery County Health Department.
Unfortunately, the COVID numbers for Montgomery County and Lower Providence have been rising since then, reaching a “Substantial” level of community transmission. Over this past week, the COVID metrics for Lower Providence (and several neighboring townships) have reached a “High” level of community transmission.
Our Re-opening Task Force met Monday evening on Zoom and made a recommendation to the Board of Trustees that “hybrid” services be suspended as quickly as possible, and that we revert to Virtual-Only services and activities.
At the December meeting of the Board of Trustees Tuesday evening, the decision was made to suspend in-person group activities in the fellowship effective immediately, and to revise our Re-Opening Policy to include a response to a “High” level of community transmission of COVID.

OUR SERVICE ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 19, WILL NOW BE VIRTUAL ONLY
OUR CANDLELIGHT SERVICE ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 24, WILL BE VIRTUAL-ONLY
Although some of us took advantage of the in-person option for many of the ‘hybrid” services we held over the past 3 months, there were always as many or more participants on Zoom for those services. Hopefully, those of you who came in-person will be able to join us on Zoom.
