At a multi-generational service on January 28, Harriet Tubman, reenacted by Millicent Sparks, helped TPUUF members, friends and guests prepare for Black History Month with a dramatic first-person narrative of her years in slavery and her heroic work as a conductor on the Underground Railroad. After presenting an inspiring and enlightening overview of Tubman’s life, Sparks in character responded with impressive detail to questions from audience members of all ages.
