Share the Plate – July/August 2016 – Covenant House

Covenant House was founded in 1972 with the mission to help homeless kids escape the streets. Today they are the largest privately funded charity in the Americas providing care and vital services to homeless, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and exploited youth. Covenant House is not your ordinary charity organization. It is a leading advocate on behalf of homeless youth – those who can’t speak up for themselves at local, state, national, and international levels of government. They have shelter facility locations across North America, with the local one being in Philadelphia. For more information, visit their website: http://covenanthousepa.org.
