Thomas Paine Unitarian Universalist Fellowship’s Annual Meeting
Saturday, May 22, 5 p.m.
The meeting’s agenda will include a vote on the annual budget and vote on the members
of the board of trustees for our congregation year, July 2010–June 2011. We will also
vote on the nominations from the floor for the vacating seats on the nominating
committee for the next year. Only members that satisfy our bylaw requirements can vote.
After the business meeting, we will share a potluck dinner. Please bring a special dish to
share. The Social Events Committee will have a signup sheet so we can achieve a good
distribution of main entrees, side dishes and desserts.
Early in May, all members will be sent an official letter announcing the meeting and the
slate of nominees for the board of trustees. Included in the mailing are an absentee ballot
and a proxy designation form. In order to satisfy our quorum requirements and share in
our congregation’s democratic process, please make every effort to attend the meeting
and dinner but if you can’t please do make sure to designate a proxy or mail in the
absentee ballot by the deadline date. Friends are welcome to attend the meeting and share
in the potluck dinner.
