April’s services at TPUUF

The following are the sermon topics for the month of April. Unless noted differently, the service will be led by Rev. Bryant B. Brown.

April 4: Where Ostara Leads – Of course there are Easter bunnies and baskets and eggs. In this multigenerational service, let’s look at how and why they, and so much more, get included in the celebration of the Sunday called Easter.

April 11: Cynics, Skeptics and Believers All – What do you get when you mix Unitarian Universalism’s questioning faith with the cynicism of 21st Century America? We’ll explore the role of faith and questioning in our lives and community. Speaker: Kevin Donahue

April 18: Earth Day #40 – Conferences and summits over the past forty years have debated, and sometimes, even taken action about protecting this planet and us on it. Earth Day gets personal about what I can and should do.

April 25: Pioneer – We human beings like to explore. Sailing ships and canoes and covered wagons have carried us beyond what we know. In 1983 the first human-made object left our solar system; it carried some information about us. It says a lot about us and how we see our place in the Universe.
