The weather forecast many weekends has people wondering if Thomas Paine will hold its 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.
If the weather threatens, a decision on whether to hold service will be made by 7:30 a.m. Sunday, posted to the Web site, and shared with members and friends via email and phone. If you’re not a member or friend and want to know, check the Web site or call 610-631-0280. The phone message should have the latest information. Or come back here.
Below is the building closing policy.
—-
The board president of Thomas Paine UU Fellowship, consulting with the minister, will make the decision to close the fellowship building for congregation-wide events, including regular Sunday services and congregational meetings.
If the president is unavailable, the vice president will act in his/her stead. If neither the president nor the vice president is available, the treasurer and then the secretary will act in this capacity.
The decision to close will be made NO LATER THAN 3 hours before the fellowship event and shared as quickly as possible with the board of trustees. Board members will call all TPUUF members and friends at least 90 minutes before the event.
The decision also will be announced through the TPUUF Web Vine email list, on the main page of the TPUUF Web site and on the TPUUF phone answering machine at least 90 minutes prior to the event.
