Here are the sermon topics and descriptions for the services in the month of february.
7 – ”Thanks for Everything” Rev. Don Garrett We know it feels good to be grateful, but it’s good for you, too. We’ll explore some recent research on gratitude and perception and its implications for our lives.
14 – Standing on the Side of Love Valentines’ Day brings the topic of love; we will talk about that. And also, our denomination has begun an initiative to bring love into the conversation every day.
21 – “Darwin’s Faith.” Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution challenged much of the religious thinking of his day and ours. As is the case with for many, his careful observation of and thinking about the world brought changes in beliefs.
28 – “Black History meets UUism” As we leave Black History Month, let’s remember and try to learn from the history of Blacks in Unitarian Universalism.
