This month’s share the plate collection, to be held Sunday, May 10, will benefit the Artists Cooperative of Norristown, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing educational experiences for artists and community members.
The Community Arts Center offers a full range of classes in the visual arts and dance, and is especially involved in introducing the arts to young people. This summer, the Arts Cooperative will run a camp. Money raised will help provide scholarships for kids who couldn’t otherwise attend.
The director of the cooperative, Amy Grebe, will join us to briefly share the group’s vision, successes, and needs. If you would like to volunteer time or material to help the cooperative, contact Kevin Donahue.
